Fluoride is actually a toxic sedative. It was given to prisoners in Nazi and Soviet death camps to calm prisoners down and to make them easier to handle. It has also been shown to impair mental functions.

But isn't fluoride good for our teeth?

No.

The reality is that fluoride plays havoc with the immune system, it contributes to the calcification of soft tissues, and it is the cause dental fluorosis in children.

Fluoride.
